PULLMAN, Wash. -
Tuesday's scheduled baseball game between Washington State University and Lewis-Clark State College has been canceled. The game, originally played May 8 at Bailey-Brayton Field, was canceled in the bottom of the fifth inning due to lightning. Tuesday's game will not be rescheduled.
The Cougars conclude a four-game road swing through Oregon with today's contest at the University of Portland. WSU is coming off a series victory over defending national champion Oregon State, taking two of three from the Beavers this past weekend. The Cougars enter today's contest with a 25-22 record while Portland is 20-27.
